FABRICS FABRICS FABRICS.............Thats what we are all about. Our 2 focus fabrics are patchwork madras fabric, which is madras fabric sewn into patchwork & Eco friendly fabrics. Patchwork madras is only manufactured in India, and thats where we receive ours from. Madras is the heart of todays preppy fashion, and preppy is best described by this fabric.
ECO-FRIENDLY FABRICS: Our eco friendly, sustainable or green fabrics are all mostly manufactured in India as well.These include Organic cotton, Bamboo and soy knits, wovens, solids, stripes, plaids, and self designs.
Our organic cottons are grown, woven/knitted, dyed and printed using methods certified by GOTS/other comparable agencies, and are free from harmful toxins. Most of the organic printing uses GOTS certified water-based inks, and we provide custom printing of your designs on organic cottons, using organic inks.
We also have knit and woven Bamboo fabrics available in solids, plaids and stripes.
Organic silk fabrics are available in several colors, stripes and self patterns.These are silks harvested from silk worms allowed to live out their natural lives, instead of boiling silk worms alive, so as to harvest the silk faster, as is done in making conventional silk.Our silk is also known as "peace silk" or "ahimsa silk", and comes from India.All dyeing on these is by using vegetable or natural dyes.
Banana fiber fabrics, pearl fiber, milk fiber and aloe vera fiber fabrics are available on order.
Other fabrics here are bamboo fabric, soy, hemp, banana fiber fabrics, pearl fiber, milk fiber and aloe vera fiber fabrics, cotton poplin,quilting fabrics, cotton prints,madras plaids / checks, plus linen, jute, Organic silk fabrics, printed fabrics, patchwork fabrics, knit fabrics, fleece fabrics, craft fabrics, sewing fabrics as well as costume fabrics, & drapery fabrics.
ORGANIC COTTON TOWELS: Our organic cotton towels are available in 2 different types.The Herb dyed collection, is a set of organic cotton towels, that have been processed, dyed, finished and washed using NO chemicals-not even low impact ones, as is the case in all other organic cottons.These towels are dyed using plant and natural mineral extracts, and are certified as per GOTS, for being ABSOLUTELY organic.
We also offer regular organic cotton towels, much like any other organic cotton towels, certified as per GOTS, for being free from harmful chemicals.
